The Mechanism bib short is PNS's core race-fit bib — compression race fit, Italian-milled four-way-stretch panels with perforated zones, laser-cut leg bands and reflective branding. The chamois is the third-generation Skyve Mechanism pad developed with PNS's long-standing Italian pad partner, updated in 2025 with zigzag stitching for smoother transitions. Women's versions use an anatomically shaped chamois and a shorter front panel. Sits one step below the Mechanism Pro on the road-race ladder. The Mechanism Bibs are optimised for high intensity training rides and races

All grippers have been fitted with soft, fully-dyed elastic that deliver the truest colour. The elastics also feature our signature silicone gripping pattern, keeping the bibs in an optimal position to improve your aerodynamic silhouette.

The straps have been updated with new a mesh structure that matches the back mesh fabric of the bibs. A new and more breathable fabric that also allows for a bit more stretch.

The four-layer chamois pad has been specifically designed to ensure lasting performance and comfort. The quick-drying antimicrobial membranes ensure you stay cool and fresh at your critical contact point with the bike, reducing friction and preventing the buildup of humidity. The zigzag in-seam chamois stitching reduces friction between the seam and saddle a feature that enhances durability.

Constructed from premium compressive and durable textiles, these fully-dyed fabrics deliver an outstanding visual aesthetic that is enhanced by a subtle tone-in-tone finish with our proprietary detailed textile definitions.
