DIVERSION x MAAP: Radical Women of Cycling Couch Chat

This past week, Diversion had the pleasure of hosting a special edition of Radical Women of Cycling in collaboration with MAAP. More than 40 local women gathered at the Clubhouse for an evening of connection, inspiration, and conversation with two remarkable athletes: elite marathon runner and sports nutritionist Rachel Hannah, and former professional cyclist and road safety advocate Imogen Cotter.

Rachel shared invaluable insights into fueling and nutrition for endurance sport, while Imogen spoke candidly about resilience, recovery, and the mental side of overcoming adversity. The discussion sparked meaningful questions and honest reflection from the audience and was an energizing reminder of the power of shared experience in sport.

We’re incredibly grateful to Rachel and Imogen for making the trip to Vancouver and sharing their stories with our community. Thank you also to MAAP and Maurten for helping bring the event to life, and to Barbet Drinks for keeping us refreshed with their sparkling waters.

The Radical Women of Cycling series continues July 5th with a community ride through the scenic roads of Victoria. We’d love to see you there.
