KASK |Casque Kask Utopia Y - Blanc
Size: s
Kask's Utopia was tested against 10 of the best road aero helmets on the market in different speed conditions and yaw angles to reflect cross winds. At the end of all the tests, the drag data of the Utopia versus the best competitor helmet resulted in saving of up to 6 watts when riding at 50kph. The aero control features incredible aerodynamics and a top performing shell to make sure that any position that the head will assume, the outflow of the air will be perfectly in line with the helmet.
Even if aerodynamics was a top priority of the design, Kask did not skimp on ventilation. The Hyvent technology features a shell that implements the air flow and breaks up the exchangeable heat. The high breathability of the inner padding sppeds up the evaporation process of perspiration, slows down the formation of humidity and keeps the temperature constant.
An important point for Kask is the comfort. Indeed, the helmet is equipped with a 3D dry padding that ensure the best comfort and performance while the Octo fit combines floating cradle contact points with internal gel pads for an optimum comfort. The supports are designed to oscillate freely through 180° allowing a perfect fit on any heads. The Skeletal Brackets of the cradle have been designed to provide the best fit and support while being as light as possible.
Another priority was the protection which is provided by the MIT technology that guarantees a higher safety and a complete protection thanks to the polycarbonate layer that covers the shell on the top, on the base ring and on the back. There is also an "in moulding" tecnology which joins the inner polystyrene cap to the outer polycarbonate one, thus ensuring a better shock absorption.
