Every MAAP chart below is verified against the brand's official sizing and matched to what we see fitting customers in the shop. All numbers are body measurements, not garment measurements.
MAAP fit — the short version
Same letter as your Castelli or Assos size — if you are a Rapha Core medium, MAAP medium is the move. Race lines run short in the body; between sizes, big arms or a long torso, go up one. The women's Alt_Road line runs a full size small.
Men's tops — jerseys, jackets, base layers
XS — chest 83–88 cm (33–35 in), waist under 75 cm
S — chest 88–94 cm (35–37 in), waist 75–81 cm
M — chest 94–100 cm (37–39 in), waist 81–87 cm
L — chest 100–106 cm (39–42 in), waist 87–92 cm
XL — chest 106–111 cm (42–44 in), waist 92–98 cm
XXL — chest 111–117 cm (44–46 in), waist 98–104 cm
Men's bottoms — bibs and shorts
XS — waist under 75 cm, hips 84–89 cm · S — waist 75–81, hips 89–95 · M — waist 81–87, hips 95–101 · L — waist 87–92, hips 101–107 · XL — waist 92–98, hips 107–113 · XXL — waist 98–104, hips 113–119 (cm)
Bibs are meant to fit tight — any loose fabric causes chafing, and the fabric relaxes a touch after a few washes and hang dries.
Women's tops
XXS — chest 76–80 cm · XS — 80–85 · S — 85–90 · M — 90–95 · L — 95–100 · XL — 100–105 (chest, cm)
Women's bottoms
XXS — waist under 63 cm, hips 82–86 · XS — 63–68, 86–91 · S — 68–73, 91–96 · M — 73–78, 96–101 · L — 78–83, 101–106 · XL — 83–88, 106–111 (waist, hips, cm)
Socks, gloves and overshoes
Socks: XS fits EU shoe sizes under 36.5, S/M fits 36.5–42, L/XL fits 43–45. Gloves run XS (17–18.5 cm hand circumference) through XL (23–24.5 cm). Overshoes: S fits EU 37–39, M 40–42, L 43–45, XL 46–48.
If you normally wear another brand
Anchored on a Rapha Core medium:
- Rapha Core M → MAAP M. Same letter carries over.
- Castelli or Assos — same letter size as MAAP for most riders.
- Pas Normal Studios — PNS runs slimmer: a MAAP M is usually a PNS L.
- Rapha Pro Team — runs about half a size small; MAAP race lines are comparable but shorter in the body.
Common questions
Does MAAP run small? Not across the board — MAAP is true to its letter for most riders. The race lines run short in the body, so long torsos often prefer one size up. The women's Alt_Road line is the exception: it runs a full size small.
What size MAAP am I if I wear Rapha? Take the same letter as your Rapha Core size. If you wear Rapha Pro Team, remember it runs half a size small — compare your body measurements to the chart above.
Should I size up for a MAAP jersey? Only if you are between sizes, have bigger arms, or a long torso. Otherwise the chart size gives the fit MAAP designed.
