Role Overview
The Run Specialist is the running expert on our ENROUTE.RUN floor in Richmond. You will fit runners with the right footwear, run gait analysis, and offer informed guidance on shoes, apparel, and nutrition, helping runners of every level move better. You will also help bring our run community to life through clubs, demo days, and events.
- Reports to: Store Manager
- Location: Richmond, B.C.
- Compensation: $20–$26 per hour
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Eligibility: Authorized to work in Canada
Key Responsibilities
Fitting & Run Expertise
- Conduct footwear fittings and gait analysis to match runners with the right shoe
- Make informed recommendations based on each runner's goals, gait, and history
- Guide customers on apparel, accessories, and nutrition for training and racing
Customer Experience
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable service to runners of all levels
- Build lasting relationships that keep runners coming back
Product Knowledge
- Develop deep knowledge of our running footwear, apparel, and nutrition brands
- Stay current on new releases, technologies, and seasonal changes
Community
- Support our run club, demo days, and community events
- Represent ENROUTE.RUN as a welcoming, credible presence in the local running scene
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for running; personal running experience is a strong asset
- Experience in specialty retail, footwear, or customer service
- Understanding of running footwear, fit, and basic biomechanics
- Strong communication and a customer-first mindset
- Availability on weekends and for occasional events
