ENROUTE is a cycling and run retailer with a growing presence in both retail and e-commerce. We focus on high-performance cycling and running apparel, components, and equipment serving riders and runners across the globe.

Role Overview

The Buyer / Merchandiser owns our product assortment across cycling and running. You will select and buy product, manage vendor and brand relationships, plan merchandising across our stores and online, and keep inventory aligned with demand. This role sits at the centre of how we grow our catalogue and brand partnerships.

  • Reports to: General Manager
  • Location: Vancouver, B.C.
  • Compensation: $60,000–$78,000 per year
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Eligibility: Authorized to work in Canada

Key Responsibilities

Buying & Assortment

  • Build a curated, seasonal assortment across cycling and running categories
  • Place and manage purchase orders and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Manage open-to-buy and budgets to balance range, depth, and margin

Merchandising

  • Plan in-store and online merchandising to showcase product effectively
  • Set pricing and manage promotions and markdowns
  • Partner with marketing on launches, featured brands, and seasonal stories

Inventory & Analysis

  • Forecast demand and manage stock levels alongside the warehouse team
  • Track sell-through, margin, and trends to inform reorders and future buys
  • Identify opportunities to grow categories and brand partnerships

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years in buying, merchandising, or planning within retail or e-commerce
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working in spreadsheets and reports
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating terms
  • Familiarity with cycling and running brands and categories is a strong asset
  • Experience with Shopify or a retail inventory/ERP system
