While it utilizes pinned cogs instead of a fully machined cluster, resulting in a slight increase in weight, this cassette is significantly more affordable. The Mini Cluster construction of steel not only reduces weight, but also increases durability and lifespan compared to titanium or aluminum cogs. Please note that this cassette is only compatible with wheels utilizing an XDR freehub driver, but many companies now offer this driver so it can be easily swapped in for a smooth upgrade.
