Brake systems, tyre size, and rim widths evolved, and so did we. The Orbis is our finest road disc offering, optimised around 28-32mm rubber for an unparalleled road experience.
This is no Corretto in disguise, we did not simply slap disc brakes on our flagship. Years in the making, even more in the refinement, the Orbis is our vision of a modern disc road bike. Crafted for sealed road riders looking to take advantage of wider rims, tubeless tyres and the sheer comfort lower PSI riding brings.
All of this is made possible with an increased (measured) tyre size range up to 34mm, an increased bottom bracket drop, re-engineered T47 bottom bracket interface, formed chainstays, concealed hydro lines, and new tailored geometry.
Orbis is the culmination and very best craftmanship we have at Baum while featuring the same ride quality we are renowned for.

For all crank options, diameters, and brands – threaded bottom bracket shells are still relevant in the 21st century.

CLEARANCE FOR UP TO 34MM TYRES
Engineered for tyres 28-32mm wide, we added clearance up to 34mm to cover tyres/rim combinations that bag out larger. Optimally the best performance is within that 28-32mm range.

FLAT MOUNT STAYS AND DROPOUTS
The Orbis features our propriety in-house designed thru-axle 6/4 Ti dropouts and our squircle flat-mount chainstay. Syntace’s quickfix tool is integrated into all our 12/142 X12 axle systems.

SCALLOPED CHAINSTAYS
Chainstays are bi-axially ovalized and scalloped to achieve the right balance between comfort and performance, ideal chain lines, and optimal heel clearance.

ENVE FORK
The optimal cradle for ENVE hoops, the ENVE road rim brake fork is the perfectly balanced offering of weight, handling, tyre clearance, and aesthetics.
CODE+
The only secret to longevity can be found in this Code. Size-specific seamless 3/2.5 tubes throughout, we took our time-honoured classic design and engineered our latest in gravel refinement. The result is a machine ideal for the gravel-curious road rider. As talented off-road as on, the Code is the bike where its road slicks wheels during the week and gravel knobby tyre hoops for those weekend escapes.
No need to be concerned with weather, Code has you covered with fender mounts fitted as standard. Racks mounts are also an option for the ultimate super commuter that comes with painted and raw finish options. Ti refinement in a true one bike for everything package.

THE ENVE OF EVERYONE
Enve AR fork that accommodates ample clearance for (up to) a 40mm tyre. The optional ENVE carbon fibre fender allows clearance up to a 32mm tyre.

The advantage being it allows the largest range of flexibility across a variety of crank brands and axle diameters.

FRONT END
With the conditions, the Code+ is capable of withstanding it’s vital the components are also up to the task. Chris King – and their lifetime warranty – have long been our choice. Even with the 44mm oversize headtube on the Code+, C.K. has it covered with their precision-machined Inset 8 headset.
BAUM GEOMETRY
Classic road rim brake geometry. The stability and responsiveness that Baum has honed over decades of building rim brake bicycles. Optimised around a 25mm measured tyre, a wider 23mm and a narrow 28mm are also just at home on this machine.
