Shimano direct-mount / traditional rim brake caliper for the named series — the pair of pads that close on the aluminium or carbon rim. Direct-mount fits aero frames with the dedicated mount; traditional dual-pivot fits any frame with standard recessed-nut brake bridges. Rim brakes are still the spec on many older road builds and TT bikes. Dura-Ace is Shimano's top-tier road groupset — the same parts the WorldTour peloton runs.
