Role Overview
The Sales Representative is responsible for delivering a strong, consistent customer experience across ENROUTE, acting as a knowledgeable and approachable brand ambassador for the store. This role supports day-to-day retail operations through strong product knowledge, proactive selling, community engagement, and operational excellence. The Sales Representative helps drive store sales by building genuine customer relationships, providing expert guidance on product selection, and ensuring the store floor reflects the high standards of the ENROUTE brand.

- Compensation: $20–$25 per hour
- Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
- Deliver attentive, knowledgeable service for every guest entering the store.
- Build strong relationships with customers through genuine, knowledgeable, and personalized service.
- Identify customer needs and confidently recommend products across footwear, apparel, accessories, nutrition, and gear.
- Support customers with product education, fit guidance, and brand storytelling to drive conversion and repeat business.
- Consistently work toward store sales goals, KPI targets, and service expectations.
- Maintain a high level of awareness around current product launches, seasonal collections, and key brand stories.
Product Knowledge & Brand Representation
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge across running, cycling, and lifestyle categories.
- Stay informed on technical product features, fit, performance benefits, and brand positioning.
- Represent the enroute brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and authenticity both in-store and within the local community.
- Act as a trusted resource for customers seeking run and cycling product recommendations.
Store Operations
- Support daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, POS transactions, and order fulfillment.
- Assist with receiving inventory, restocking, merchandising, and maintaining strong visual presentation standards.
- Ensure the sales floor, stockroom, and fitting areas remain clean, organized, and aligned with store expectations.
- Support e-commerce pickups, ship from store orders, and other channel service needs as required.
- Help monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock, merchandising needs, or product issues to leadership.
Community & Events Support
- Support store events, activations, group rides, run clubs, and community initiatives as needed.
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment that strengthens the enroute community.
- Build awareness of store programming, new arrivals, and brand initiatives through customer conversations and in-store engagement.
Team Contribution
- Collaborate closely with store leadership and fellow team members to maintain a strong team culture.
- Contribute to a positive, accountable, and high-performing store environment.
- Provide feedback on customer trends, product requests, and opportunities to improve the store experience.
- Be flexible in supporting both store locations and business needs when required.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in retail or customer service
- Passion for running, cycling, and technical apparel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-first mindset with a proactive and team-oriented approach
- Ability to confidently sell and speak to technical product features
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Reliable, professional, and motivated to contribute to store success
- Retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and key retail periods as needed
